The town where I "live".
"I live here. That's all."
Okay, I don't want to get run out of town, but I wouldn't make a long stay in St. Catharines part of your agenda. Except for an exceptional brew pub and some really neat but overgrown and ignored old canal locks, St. Catharines is pretty much forgettable. The region around it is beautiful, however. It is about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls. The Niagara region is a really diverse area, split by the Niagara Escarpment (a World Heritage Site or something like that) and some fantastic wineries, hiking, and so on. But really, St Catharines...? Go to the local brew pub, enjoy their excellent Ales, then get your designated driver to get you out of this town.
