The Soo

"Been there, Done That."
The Soo is one of those cities that you when you have seen one you have seen them all. Another dirty city. Everything is all far apat, you need a car to get around, or a lot of money for a taxi cab. The mall and home town arena of the Soo Greyhounds are close together, and the border to the US is close by. I don't really care for the city myself, its dirty and cluttered. The Casino might be one of the only good things about the town, but what good is it if you are underaged. Soo Greyhounds are the towns home team, and don't fail to present a good game. One thing good about the Soo in my opinion is the hockey team...and maybe Algoma Railway.
Canadian Sault-sainte-Marie LOCKS
by Simonneeddy
Entering the Canadian locks from Lake Superior to descend into The Ste. Mary's River then Lake Huron,
Completed in 1895 the Sault St. Marie Canal had the largest lock in the world when it opened and was the first electrically operated lock in the world. The completion of an all Canadian waterway from the Atlantic Ocean To Lake Superior was a remarable achievement at that time.
Today it is used by recreational boats and the locks on the American side are used for the huge Lake boats or Lakers as they are called
The bridge to U.S.A can be seen in front
