    The hotel accomodated all of my needs, including a very early (6am) check in. Rooms on the City Hall side of the hotel are much nicer than those in the other tower. Beds in the hotel were very comfortable.

    The hotel has a spa as well as an indoor/outdoor pool. In the center, there is also a garden with waling paths ans waterfalls.

    This hotel is a Toronto landmark, and while it's changed hands several times it still remains a special place to stay. Very luxurious but not obscenely priced.
    They've got extensive workout facilities so you can stay in shape as well.
    Another plus is that it is connected to Toronto's PATH system; an underground walkway system in the downtown core which allows you to roam around without braving the elements.
    It's near Harbourfront, SkyDome, CN Tower, theatre district, ACC, and downtown shopping.
    I stayed here before I moved to Toronto, we were attending a concert at the SkyDome and the hotel was wonderful!

    as said it was my first time overseas... I had landed in Montreal as the reason of this trip was an international computer music conference my fellow traveller had to attend, and as I reached Toronto by bus in the night, I didn't find any better way to book an hotel there that at the hotel desk of Montreal airport and they found it for me but... to give my judgement on it, I just say that I chose the same hotel chain in Montreal...

    A friend of mine stays here when he comes to Toronto and has yet to complain at all about the place. It is your standard Holiday Inn geared for the convention and business crowd with tourists frequenting too. The rooms are large and there are a good coffee shop and respectable bar beneath. Also underneath is a comedy club. Surprisingly the Hell's Angels stayed here during a convention. There were no serious incidents to report of. The actual hotel is located from the 9th to the 22nd floors of this complex. The building itself is often regarded as the ugliest building in Toronto. You be the judge. It is not pretty but there are uglier.

    In my mind the best thing about this hotel is the location, especially if you have come to Toronto for the nightlife and sportlife. The Holiday Day on King Downtown in is located smack in the middle of Toronto's very hot "Entertainment District". In fact a couple of the nightlife tips I have posted here are just three blocks away. Also the Rogers Centre (the Skydome) is located nearby where you catch a baseball game or a CFL game. There are also several theatres just blocks away and more restaurants then you can count. We held a local VT meeting on the same block.

    As Hans and I always drive to Toronto when we have to fly out of Toronto airport, we usually book a room near the airport for when we return home as its always late in the evening and we don't want to drive home after such a long day. Our travel agent at Sears got us a wonderful deal at the DELTA HOTEL AIRPORT WEST. For $89.00 CDN or about $99.00 US, we got a nice hotel conveniently located just off the 401, plus 21 days free parking in their covered garage, plus free shuttles to and from the airport. Can't beat it!
    Our room had two huge Queen size beds, TV, desk with telephone and internet hook-up, mini fridge, and full bathroom.
    There were restaurants right across the street like a Kelseys, Montana, a Thai restaurant and a Country-Style Donuts which also served breakfast in the morning.
