Cabbagetown Rooms

This B&B place is HORRIBLE!!!

I went to Toronto to have a nice relaxing holiday in a Bed and Breakfast. I saw Cabbagetown Room review's on their website and everyone gave them glowing reviews. So I booked a 'blue room'.

I get there and there living room is FILTHY and so smelly. All the furniture looks like they took it from a dumpster. It is dusty, old, mismatched and ugly.

Over that the hosts tried to put me in a smaller room for the same price I was paying for the bigger room. I looked at both rooms and still picked the blue room. And the host tells me, don't pick that room, it has a dusty patio (you can imagine if she says it....how filthy the rest of the home was)!!! It was funny how depressed they sounded with my decision. Both rooms were filthy with old bedsheets and comforter. Their breakfast table is so old and ugly. The only breakfast they had was old cereal. I felt like puking seeing their home.

Their shared bathroom is far away from the bedrooms and next to the breakfast area. So you have to walk by everyone when you take a shower. The shower is filthy too so you probably dont want to take a shower there. The towels are dirty and old. They have pets all over and the carpets are so dirty with big stains all over, you can not even tell their original color.

The hosts were very rude and such a waste of time. I still feel like puking whenever I think of their dirty ass home.

If you plan to go to Toronto, do yourself a favor and get another place. All the reviews I see about this place has been done by the hosts. They are nasty people with bad personalities. They don't mean any good either. It is an ugly, old and dirty place.

Hosts were trying to act smart
Hosts made us very uncomfortable
Dirty breakfast
Dirty towels and old towels
Shower was dirty
Dirty Patio ... host said so herself
I still feel like puking just thinking about their place.
