Absolutely disgusting, this place should be condemed. From the hallway, stairwells, rooms, all filthy.
Very disappointed that Howard Johnson would actually put their reputation at stake to keep this place open.
Don't let the pictures deceive you!!!!

YUUUCK!

star rating, 0 (must have been cloudy:) Our class came to this "hotel" (Howard Johnson Toronto East.) to stay at for our year- end trip and our school will NEVER book this "hotel" again! we arrived at the "hotel" for check in at 11:30pm and no one answered the door. finally we got some service and this was only because they spotted us as they were kicking people out (big suprize). as we walked up the old stair case with the MISSING STEP and down the old musty urine infested hallway we saw the non-english-speaking staff staring at us from within the dark corners- creepy. this kid's foot got caught in the carpet and pulled up the carpet boarder for about 45 feet, and every single ice machine and vending machine was out of order. then we got our room keys they read, and i quote, "your key to happieness. go happy. go hogo" PHHFFT, ya right NO ONE was happy walkin in there, in between the blood stained carpet odd odeor and discusting view i'd have to say it was the Worst "hotel" i've ever been in. Oh and the FREE BREAKFAST 1 word, DISCUSTING. "ground rat muffins" (as i call them) sour milk, cold coffee and tea, bagels with yougurt in them and moldy orange juice could all be found at this wonderful, sorry REVOLTING "hotel" we asked about the pool and the only english speaking staff said, "yes pool beautiful!" well, it was FILLED WITH GRAVEL! this "hotel" (more like phyco house!) is not recomended by any one except for the liars at "HOJO" ya they actually call it that!

Unique Quality: absolutly none!

Directions: take a left turn at Creepy Avenue
