I would go back to Toronto just to stay here again
I would go back to Toronto just to stay in this hostel. Unlike some reviewers, I paid with a credit card with no hassle, and I didn't run into any hostel cat. It is really clean and recently refurbished, offers a free breakfast, and laundry machines (also free). Great common spaces - especially the roof deck which has an amazing view! On Saturdays the owner hosts a free BBQ on the roof - It is in China town but it is also in a 'bohemian' area so there are trendy bars and restaurants serving other types of food. It is still within walking distance of all the attractions that my friends and I wanted to see. We stayed in a private 3-bed room and all agreed that it was a fantastic hostel!
Unique Quality: The roof deck is amazing. It has indoor/outdoor space and let me meet a lot of other travelers. I was a little concerned this would be a rowdy hostel because of the roof deck, but everyone is very respectful and it closes at midnight. There is an AMAZING view of the city (including the famous CN Tower), and on Saturdays the owner of the hostel hosts a free BBQ on the roof for anyone who wants to join.

The Best Hostel in Toronto!
This amazing hostel is located on 175 Augusta Ave in Kennsington Market, right next to Chinatown. The staff is absolutely amazing. They will do anything to help you, and are very fun people. The accomodations are great as well, nice rooms, living areas, kitchen, TV room, and patio. The best part is the free Saturday night BBQ. Anthony, the owner, cooks burgers for everyone, and you all get drunk together and socialize. I have been to cities such as London, Berlin, Budapest, and Mexico City, and this hostel helped give me the opinion that Toronto is the best out of all that I have been to.
