I thought the exterior of the hotel was nice and the inside was as well. The decor was a lil mixmatched but that did not bother us. The beds were comfortable and we were very happy that we had free internet at this hotel. There were 2 restaurants on site, which we did not go to but it was nice to know it was there. They also had a fitness center and a pool. The lady at the front desk was a bit rude and assured me they did not place holds on credit cards, I did not mind if they did because I am used to this happening, but when I am told specifically that it will not happen that is when I get a bit upset. She still insisted a hold would not be placed on my account. I go to my room and find that I have a $53 hold. I was annoyed but decided it wasn't worth arguing with her again. The view out our window wasn't much. It was of a towing company and some other random rundown looking buildings. Also the air did not appear to work in the room, so I think they maybe had it set to be the same temperature throughout the hotel. The hotel was in a good location for shopping and restaurants and not far from the Ambassador Bridge, which makes it easy for those of us that live in the US to get home :) I got a good deal on this hotel via priceline, of only $50. It is $125 on the hotel's website. Though my stay was pleasant, if I chose to visit again I would select a hotel with a view of the Detroit skyline.
