The Big Dipper
This place is so homey, you will feel a tinge of sadness when you check-out. Owners Josee and Paul couldn't be more gracious as hosts.
There are the Bed & Breakfast rooms and the motel rooms, for those on a tighter budget, which are detached from the house, and with less perks. Since we went with a group during off-peak season, they were kind enough to give us a deal that worked perfectly for us.
The rooms are simple but tastefully decorated, and if you need something, they will try their best to accommodate your needs. All rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a parking lot. It is located about 5 minutes away from the Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre Basilica, and it is a good place to base yourself if you plan on skiing/snowboarding on Mont Sainte-Anne and/or Le Massif. You can also visit the Montmorency Falls, Ile d'Orleans, etc.
The best thing about La Grande Ourse, is the breakfast that Josee cooks herself. I felt so taken care of. =)
