    Hotel des Commandants offers very comfortable rooms and it is well located on rue de la Reine, in downtown Gaspe. Most rooms offer a great view of the bay of Gaspe, and tourists will enjoy the regional cuisine (i.e. fresh seafood) of the hotel's Maree Soleil restaurant. They can also spend a casual evening at the resto-bar O'Pub or relax at the Renaissance health club. I've only stayed there once, seeing that I ususally stay at my sister's, but I really think it's the best hotel choice in Gaspe because of its great location and restaurants.

    On a rainy day, you can catch a movie in English at Cinema Baker (418-368-3355)
