L'hotel Du Vieux Quebec

Great location and service

We stayed at this hotel in vieux Quebec for 4 nights. It's located on Saint Jean street in the center of old Quebec not Levis. Levis is the other side of the river. The location is great, walking distance to everything ( besides the airport:). The hotel has a nice lounge with 2 computers if you need to check your emails. We liked our room. It had a King bed with a large flatscreen TV, dvd payer, coffee maker, fridge, safe, and a beautiful stonewall. The room was quiet. They give you a basket with small breakfast in the morning with fresh croissant. There is a nice french bistro restaurant with good food that seems popular with the locals. The staff were very nice and funny.

Unique Quality: Besides the amazing location, the service was exceptionnal. The staff really helped us enjoy and relax with the personnel service we received. For example, one night we wanted a bottle of wine so they sent someone out to buy us one. A young man delivered it to our door, no extra charge and and would'nt even take a tip. I felt guilty about not tipping because I new someone had gone out in the rain but we found out it had been one of hte owners who went to get it.

Also they have free movies with popcorn.
