Dancing on the bar
If you wanna have fun the Tremblant way, you must dance on the bar in the P'tit Caribou (go in my nigthlife section).
For the girls, don't be shy to go topless since a lot of girls are doing it!!! And nobody is looking ;-)!!!

I love this off-the-beaten-path swimming hole. If you take the bus from the Tremblant resort village, it will follow the shore of the lake past a marina. Get off here, but keep walking along the road! You'll come to a small almost unnoticeable bridge, with waterfalls beneath it.
This is a great swim spot. The rapids aren't too strong in most places, so you can clamber down the rocks the the sweet, shady lagoon at the base of the falls. There are plenty of rocks to sun yourself on, and a deep calm patch to jump off the bridge into if you like!
Also, there are hardly any people here (but watch out for broken glass in the water/rocks), so it's a great change from the hectic tourist pace of the village.
Oh, and it's also completely free.
A hiking trail is mostly made of crushed stone. There is a LOT of uphill hike, with a change of altitude of 180m, before reaching the breathtaking lookout point. From here, you can have an amazing view of Lac Monroe, and the surrounding mountains. And of course, the return trip is much faster and easier!
The length of the trail is 1.6 km - one way. If you are physically fit, you can combine the Roche trail (2.5km one way, with a altitude change of 220m) and Coulee trail (1.7km).
Canoeing being our family hobby, we dedicated one full day to it. We canoed in lake Moore, lake Mercier and in a stretch of Diable River in the Mont-Tremblant National Park.
Pictures from only one day of canoeing are available with us for a very bad reason. One canoe flipped and my husband and I fell into the rather cold water. Unfortunately, my husband went down with his Pentax (picture # 3), our main family camera. The camera went out of order, although it showed recovery signs after a week.
The Diable River flows for 100 kms from lac Diable in Mont-Tremblant National Parc to its confluence with Rouge River. Almost a quarter of its 1212 sq. kms catchment area is in the park. We spent half a day on a river descent in the Park. we had brought our picnic lunch that we ate on one of the sandy beaches while enjoying the scenery.
Many ppl know of Mont Tremblant because of its world class ski resort, which is very similar to the one in Whitsler, British Columbia, as they are both run by the same company.
Not many ppl know of the natural side of the area, as they never go beyond the resort. Just a half an hour drive from the resort is the Mont Tremblant Provincial Park, where you'll find the quiet side of nature in the mountains and lakes.
