Great Skiing
by jamiesno
If you like downhill skiing and most likely you do if your planning on Mont Tremblant you will find plenty of ski runs and lots of activity.
This is a busy mountain and no shortages of challenges! Enjoy and I have a web site address provided as well.
Tremblant has been voted the best ski resort in eastern North America by SKI magazine. Nestled in the Laurentians in Quebec, Canada, this resort is a golfing, skiing and snowboarding paradise. Just a 1½ hour drive from Montreal. The perfect place for your next ski or golf vacation.
Please rate my tips and leave your comments!! You can also visit my travelogue to see extra pictures of the mountain.
Escape from the resort

For just $1CAD each way take the bus from the base of the mountain and visit the quaint little village of St. Jovite.
Take time out from the skiing to wander round the few shops they have here and to experience the "French Flavor"
Also there is a large supermarket in the village where you can stock up on provisions rather than at the resort shop, which has a very limited selection and is expensive.
Watch bird show at the top of the mountain
by Faiza-Ifrah
We have watched many bird shows, Wonder of Flight at WDW Magic Kingdom at Orlando, Florida and Mountsburg Conservation Park near Burlington, Ontario are few of them. However, the kind of conservationists and wildlife lovers we are, you can bet we won't miss any opportunity coming our way.
The Bird Show is held on top of the mountain and I think unless it is really warm it is advisable that you carry a piece of warm clothes with you.
The presenters, two great ladies, cater to both French and English speaking audience.
Mont-Tremblant off the beaten path

"Touristy yet once in a life time experience"
On this page, we will take you along with us exactly the same way we explored this fantabulus destination.
Mont-Tremblant is located 100 kms north of Montreal and is a 4 seasons tourist area. Summer of 2007 culminated with a week long visit to this touristy yet thrilling destination.
The city itself is divided into 3 sectors - the St. Jovite Sector, the Village sector, where we stayed, and the Mountain Sector, which is the starting point for all the major mountain related activities.
This is the region of lakes, forests, bikers trails, eautiful architecture, and rolling hills finally giving way to the highest mountain in Quebec, that is, Mont-Tremblant.
Not all it's cut out to be !!!!!

After reading sooooo many great things about this place I was very disappointed. First it's in the middle of nowhere with nothing around for miles and miles.....then the "Awesome" prices that were promoted by the resort was a farce.....They say the conversion rate will more than make up for a little of the hassle....but when you pay $4 US for a loaf of bread then there's it's no cheap vacation spot !!!! If I would have know about this I would have stayed in the United States and gone to Vail or Brecknridge, Colorado and been a lot better off !!!! Don't believe the what you read. Would not recommend it !!!!!!
