Pleasant surprise
I was not sure about this place when I first booked, but once I was there, it felt like home.
This is a very simple facilty. It is a dorm-style room with 3-4 beds per room with a shared bathroom. Considering I was sharing the room with other people, it was very quiet. Once nice thing is the kitchen facilities. A full kitchen with toasters, coffee maker and rice cooker. It saves a lot of money from having to eat out.
This hotel is perfect for people who just need a place to sleep, and don't require any special services. Although there is Internet connectivity and a phone with free calling to major Canadian cities.
Overall, a nice stay.

Major Disappointment
This hostel was hostile. As in: cramped, dark, cold, very poorly and cheaply furnished room (3 of us were crowded into a space the size of a small bathroom). I was "welcomed" with a massive overcharge of $60 because my plane arrived late (advertised as "$60/per hour if you show up after a certain time - in actuality, even if the manager only spends ten minutes checking you in, you still get charged the full $60). Really sad to be writing this, because in general I support local businesses and hostels. But this one? I would only recommend it to people I didn't like.
