A Perfect Stay for Our Family
We had a great few days at this B&B, which is located on the Western side of Montreal (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce). We really enjoyed the neighborhood -- not touristy at all. Quite a selection of ethnic restaurants. The metro is about a 15 minute walk from the B&B, which was no problem for our family of four. We stayed in the suite, with our girls camped out on the sleeper sofa. The breakfast was a big plus. Not overly fancy like some B&Bs have (the girls are too young to appreciate gourmet breakfasts). A large variety of food -- Montreal bagels (as good as New York's), yogurt, cereal, eggs to order. Our girls enjoyed the cat and dog. And Carole was a delight.
Unique Quality: Great neighborhood (away from tourists), friendly owner, big breakfasts.
