Stinky and No Drain
This "hotel" is a step up from sleeping in the grounds of the adjacent Metro, but only because there's no elevator. The room was not as advertised; had two single beds rather than the double I booked; it stank of something mouldy and musty (despite the open window and permanently-on AC), and the sink was virtually unusable because it didn't drain the water. The shared toilets were too few for the number of rooms, and the shower rooms would have benefited from an extractor fan that worked. The fridge in the room didn't work, and the guy on the desk didn't speak enough English to understand what I was saying to him.
Despite having brought it to the attention of the owner/manager/someone (via the cell phone of the non-English-speaking reception guy), nothing was done about the disgusting smell or the problems of the sink not draining.
The room itself was clean though, and that was the hotel's only saving grace. I couldn't wait to leave.
Unique Quality: It was convenient being right next to the the Metro station, and the café below served good coffee and decent pastries.
