Located across from Chateau Frontenac. Next to the little alley way known as rue du Tresor as it is where all the artist set up to sell their art work. I have stayed here twice and love the ambiance. I always have a room overlooking the street which in warmer months has a lot of action. Could mean you will be serenaded to sleep by someone on a guitar. In colder months, that isn't a problem. I've eaten in the little restaurant and the food is very good. The place is very clean.
Unique Quality: The location is terrific!
Directions: Old upper city, building with the red roof.
Striking RED catches your eye and you have to find out what this building is. The inn has 21 rooms and serves French food.
Located in a 1640 inn, this is the site of the first French Kiss in North America (as hte web site says...)
It's right in front of the Chateau Frontenac and besides the famous rue du Tresor, where local craft is displayed in small stalls.
The place has an incredible atmosphere, decent price and a great restaurant.
Unique Quality: The rooms are small but well insulated and decorated.
I booked the romantic package and was not disapointed. The meal included in the package was great. The breakfast were excellent and the service very good.
I definitely recommend this place
Directions: right in front of the Chateau Frontenac, with a big red roof !
