A JEWEL !!!!!!!!!!

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on October 25, 2003

Madame Dolores Dumais and Mounsier Yvon Turcotte are a beautiful couple. They themselves constitute a destination. I spent a whole week with them. Mounsier Turcotte took me every mornig by car to the Congress Center and in several opportunities to the City Center. While driving he explained for me the city, the must see and the "off the beaten paths". Engage in conversation with this couple could reduce your time for sightseen but it is a real delight. The house is beautiful and the mobilary is exotic. The dinner table carved in fine wood (regret not having a picture to show) becomes the perfect excuse to start a breakfast conversation with other customers.

To reach the place from Quebec Airport I took a cab.
It was aprox. US$15-20. Save time! My friends Dolores and Yvon will tell you later how to save money in local transportation.

Unique Quality: A perfect full breakfast. Perfect!!! Just perfect.
I would love to share also the late luch these two prepare for themeselves...
Mounsier Turcotte allows you to use his computer to check mail and browse the internet. No extra cost.
Since the house is located in a residential area close to Laval University and few minutes by bus from historic Quebec City gives you the chance of experimenting with the real life of the quebecoises.
The bus stop is 50 meters from your door. Major banks with ATM are within the block and for those who will stay long a laundromat close to the bus stop is open 24 hours.
Why paying five starts hotel rates if you can stay in these jewel for a third of the price?
Reservations are a must!!!! I have recommmended this B&B to all my friends and I have quite a number of friends.

IMPORTANT: You can have especial rate for a long stay!!!!

Directions: If you love to walk, and have time, stroll the Rene-Levesque Blvd. back and forth from Old Quebec (30 min max) Eymard Avenue is the first cross road in the Battlefields area.
