Excellent Quebec Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott Quebec City is an excellent option for both vacationers and business travelers. This is a very modern facility with clean, crisp rooms. The hotel staff made us feel very welcome from the curbside greeting to the check-in desk to the concierge. And the location just outside the wall near Rue St Jean clinches the deal.
Unique Quality: I think the best part of the hotel was the friendly bilingual staff who went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. In room complimentary internet access was very useful as well although I would have liked Wi-FI. The lobby has a few comfortable sitting areas as well.

Great Location, Great Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott is a great deal in a great city. The location is perfect since it is only about a one minute walk from the walls of the old city and you dont get the total chaos that can be found in the city. The staff is great and so helpful and the rooms are clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the hotel and since it was smaller then a normal chain hotel - it seemed more personal and special.
Unique Quality: One of the great characteristics about this hotel is the fact that it is in an old bank building. Our room had four windows (!) and a great view of the old city.
Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Great Service and Location
The people who worked at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. I can't really think of anything else to say about the service because that statement fit every encounter we had with hotel staff.
We were in town for Winter Carnival and this location was close to many of the activities. Some took place right in front of the hotel. There were tons of places to eat and shop within walking distance. There are two fireplaces in the lobby with comfortable seating that make nice places to warm up. The hotel breakfast buffet has a pretty standard menu but they seemed to put a little extra effort into keeping things fresh. Some of the rooms have a chair that pulls out to a narrow single bed.
Parking is in a garage near the hotel. We used the valet service, which cost a little more but provided in and out privileges. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for the car.
Unique Quality: This hotel is located across the street from a very well maintained outdoor skating rink that was free and seemed to always be open.

This hotel is great, but it a little overpriced. It has a great lobby and a great restaurant. You get a 10% discount to the restaurant, Que Sera Sera. Its menu looked to have authentic fine French cuisine. The hotel staff was extremely freindly by giving us directions to attractions, restaurant recomendations and telling us where local festivals were taking place. The room we had was a huge king-size bed. The only thing I didnt like was that the room was a little small and not offering good views of the marvelous area around it. I thought the rooms would be bigger for the price it cost.
The location of the hotel was the best thing about it. It was right across from the Place D'Youville, which contains the St. Jean's Gate and the Palais Montcalm, a preforming arts center. It is a very short walk to the Battlefields Park and Augustine museum. Its only about a 10 minute walk to the Chateau Frontenac, which is where all the main attractions and museums are. Another plus for the hotel is that the historical St. Jean street runs laong aside it and it has many great shops and restaurants.

Our stay at the Courtyard hotel in downtown Quebec was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The young men who work as valets and concierge were especially well mannered and went out of their way to provide directions and guidance. Our room was large, two queen beds, sofa and sitting area and had a fridge. The entire hotel was clean and in excellent condition. The location is excellent. Saint Jean's Gate is at your door step and you can walk throughout the walled city from this entrance. The Chateau Frontenac is about a 15 minute walk. Many shops and cafes are in this area. However, we found the best restaurants on Grand Allee which is either a 15 minute walk or a $5 taxi ride. The Au Vieux Canon restaurant had outstanding French food and the best waitress in the world! Sylvie knows and loves her work and can help you experience great French food. After our delicious 4 course meal ($44Ca), we even waltzed in the street thanks to the violin player at the restaurant. We will return to the Courtyard and Sylvie!

My husband and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Quebec City recently and we enjoyed our stay there tremendously. The hotel is not only beautiful and elegant, but the location is perfect! The staff is also very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, including the bed, pillows, bathroom, free internet. Everything was great at this hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! This is the best hotel to stay in at Quebec City.

My wife had always wanted to go to Quebec, so this was a Christmas gift for her. Friends of ours went at the same time and stayed at the Frontenac, which was too pricey for us. Thanks to Trip Advisors reviews I tried the Marriott Courtyard and couldn't have asked for a better stay (except there was no pool). The staff were fantastic. The room had a great view of the wall, the city and a skating rink. Although the room may seem a bit small to some given the limitations of an old building, it was more than adequate for us. In addition, even the restaurant was fantastic. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

when i first thought it i thought it looked nice when i got inside i thought it was magnificent. :) nice staff nice rooms and v nice whirlpool the food for breakfast was nice too it was in a very very very good location, because you could just step outside and it was write in the middle of the city, where all of the attractions were so overall a fabulous hotel.

My husband and I absolutely loved our Easter weekend stay at this hotel, even the light rain didn't dampen our visit. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The corner room we stayed in was non-smoking and had a city view (as requested) and was impeccably clean. The location of this hotel is terrific, we were right in the middle of most attractions, making it a short walk to everything. Both our breakfasts were at a restaurant on avenue Honoré-Mercier behind our hotel called L'Oeuforie. The food was delicious and nicely presented with assorted fruit, reasonably priced and with very good service. The Courtyard Marriott Quebec is our preferred hotel when staying in Quebec city.
