Great Room,Great Location, NICE Hostess : O ]
This place is owned by the same people that own Manoir Le Jardin...the second of the three properties that I stayed at during my visit to Quebec City...
The room was decorated again quite nicely and the bed was comfortable...however the room was situated by the main entrance to the house so that it was little on the loud side whenever the front door opened and closed..a stairway to the other rooms was also located outside the room...and the floors and stairs were hardwood...noisy when people came and went...This really only was an issue later at night when I was woken up a few times during my sleep : O [
The breakfast was great and the housekeeper here was not the same one I had to contend with during my previous night at the sister property Manoir le Jardin...Nathalie was in fact quite pleasant to interact with.
The breakfast was pretty much the same foods that were available at Le Jardin...so there is some consistency for certain!
Unique Quality: Be aware if you might have allergies to animals or in particular dogs...there is a resident doggy named Theo that seemed to go where he liked...not a bad thing, except during breakfast... but you need to know this is you think you might like to stay here...
Directions: Just inside the walls of the Old city...North of the Terrace Dufferin by two blocks
