Vous devriez, pour commencer, aller au mont-tremblant voir les beaux paysages qu'offre la région. Suivi d'un bon petit souper au pied de la montagne. En hiver, le ski alpin est au rendez-vous, à ne pas manquer.
You should, to begin, go to the Mont-Tremblant, see the beautiful landscapes which offers the region. Next, a good dinner at feet of the mountain. In winter, the Alpine skiing is very popular, it's not to miss.
For me, the 4 seasons are very important: the spring, the summer, the autumn and the winter. Quebec offers the best 4 seasons. When I was a child, it was important for me to make my snowman every winter, to play in puddles the spring, to swim in the swimming pool the summer and had a lot of fun in leaves the autumn. It was so funny to do that, even today.
I'd say that Quebec has to be...
I'd say that Quebec has to be seen in the winter. Besides avoiding the throngs of tourists, you will get to appreciate the beauty of this old, very European city under cover of snow. Wow... it makes me smile just thinking about it.

Why Does It Always Rain On Me....
A light rain jacket. Not a windbreaker, but something that actually is designed to repel water. And an umbrella. Sudden rainstorms pop up... and then you're caught. We actually had to spend 45 minutes in a traveler's center reading lame-o travel brochures... along with all the other tourists in that area!... because of a sudden storm. Didn't seem to bother the shirtless, shoeless, buff guy walking around outside the building. Damn.
Parc Omega - Le Parc Oméga.
Parc Omega is a 1500 acre park where you can watch animals from Canada in their natural surroundings. One drives along a 10 km path through a landscape made of lakes, valleys, forests and medows. It is allowed to feed the animals carrots through the car window and they will approach the car looking for carrots. At the beginning of the journey through the park the animals are eager to get some carrots and it can become a bit too much ;)
The ride through the park was awesome, with little boars, bambies, buffalos, black-bears, moose, wolves, racoons and all kinds of animals who greet you. Some of them, of course are fenced in, like the black bear and wolves.
While in the car you turn on the car-radio and listen to FM radio stations with guidance through the park.
After the ride through the park you can visit a lodge by the lake by the entrance and buy some souvenirs and have something to eat.
Parc Omega is just north of Montebello, ca one hour's drive from Ottawa, from where we were coming. Alhtough the safari park is in the province of Quebec, then it is much closer to Ottawa, which is in the province of Ontario than Quebec city. But then Canada is very vast ;)
I add more photos from the park in a travelogue here.
