magnificent home BUT
The home was beautiful --- it truly is a mansion! BUT it was not air conditioned and despite what they say about the cool breezes from the St Lawrence River our room was almost unbearable on a hot 90-degree day. All the windows in the room and in the halls are sealed shut. There was one window panel (about 12" x 24") in the room that could be opened but that was it. Even if there were a breeze it would never get in the room or the hallway. Perhaps things would be fine on a cool day or in the fall, winter or spring. Also, the main view from our window was the high voltage towers right next to the house that you could hear buzzing when you were outside. No I would not stay here again.
Unique Quality: This house was spotless and very well decorated. It is huge and beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic, it was like we were being made breakfast by a French chief!!
