Nice Hotel in the Laurentians
Dog Sledding package was around 100$ I believe per person.
It took some time to check in due to a large group in front of us,
The desk was under staffed but still friendly.
The hotel has a SPA, gym, bar, huge restaurant, etc.
Interesting thing, when you get into the hotel, you actually arrive at the top of the mansion.
The hotel is nested on the hill so the rooms are on the bottoms floors.
Some floors don't have a elevator so you might have to go down 4 floors and walk A LOT to get to a stairway near your room (which is not convenient with kids, luggages etc). The hotel is really huge and it is easy to get lost !
Other than that, everything's OK.
Unique Quality: The restaurant is great.
They serve an amazing breakfast buffet with all sorts of things.
We also had dinner there, the food was good but sometimes pretencious.
The building itself is really pretty, it is huge and made of stones.
The ski slopes are now closed but there are some nearby (St Jerome, Morin Heights, ski chantecler etc) within reasonnable driving distance.
All the rooms have a whirlpool.
Even tho, the rooms (and bathrooms) could really use a makeover, they were quite confortable.
The hotel mainly serves families and larger groups.
Will probably come back, the place is really charming and authentic (unlike Tremblant's resorts).

This is probably to nicest familly get away resort around Montreal (ST-Sauveur and Tremblant are way to busy..)
