Travel Tips for Sainte-Adèle

A rest stop on the Linear Park

by feline01

As I described in my Val David page, the Linear Park is a 200K hiking/biking/cross-country skiing/snowmobiling trail stretching from St. Jerome to Mont-Laurier. It's very easy to go village to village since accomodation and dining can be found along the trail at each village. The lengths between villages vary but can be as little as 2-3 miles. Anyway, if you're passing through or wish to start your journey at Saint-Adele, don't miss the Cafe de la Gare et Boutique Espresso Sports. It's almost impossible to miss it since it's directly on the Linear Park and next to a parking lot. Not only do they have coffee and light meals, they rent bikes and sell sporting goods. Very cute building, renovated train station hence the name (cafe de la gare).
