This is a convenient stop for sailors who want to explore this area. Aside from the numerous places of interest to make it worth a few days stay, there are stores within easy walking distance for stocking up.
Most sailors like to sail, but they also like to explore the area they are visiting. There are numerous walking trails in the area, so enjoy them.

THE FERRY RIDE IS FREE
We are on a Ferry and another is approaching to replace us. There are three ferry boats in season so you do not wait long. It is a 10 minute ride across the river.The Highway ends here and they have not built a bridge across the Saguenay River as it is to deep and would cost a fortune to build
There is a Casino at Point-aux-Pique not far from here.
