"Why Moose Jaw?"
Just the name was enough to raise my interest. Moose Jaw was on our path across Canada, and looked like an interesting town to stay in. The only attraction we did was the tunnel tour. See "Things to do".

It's a bird... It's a plane...It's a Moose!!
Have you seen it? It stands just off the highway outside the city. You can't drive along the Trans Canada and miss it!
All that aside, I think the most interesting thing about Moose Jaw is the tale that Al Capone hung out there for a while during Prohibition. There are tunnels through which you can take tours -- apparently he used them... Who knows, but it's a cool story.
