We stayed at the centrally located Regina Inn for about $80 Canadian (taxes included) per night. It is a very comfortable spot - in fact Prince Charles was in town for a visit and was staying there at the same time! Regina is not all that big and the traffic is well-behaved, so it does not take long to get wherever you are headed. We were quite happy with our stay of a few nights in this hotel.
Unique Quality: There happened to be a strike at the other first-class hotel in town, but our establishment met the qualifications as an alternate accommodation site for Prince Charles! I was a bit slow at breakfast one morning as we sat in our ground floor restaurant booth, noticing quite a few young men seated here and there with things stuck in their ears. I mentioned to Sue that there must be some sort of Hearing Aid convention here. She laughed uproariously as she said these were Prince Charles' security escort guys getting started for the day! :-)
Directions: In the main downtown core of Regina, within easy walking distance of most things.
