The Sheraton is an eight story building in downtown Saskatoon along the river. From above the Sheraton is “T” shaped with the top of the “T”, the older part of the building parallel to the river. The slightly new wing forms the base of the “T” but heads away from the river. Rooms are slightly less expensive in the older wing as opposed to the newer wing. There is little or no view from rooms facing away from the river or in the new wing. The top floor is used as a conference center with the ground floor holding tree restaurants and a Starbucks.
Unique Quality: The pool and 24 hour fitness center is on the second floor. Kids are constantly running up and down the hall to the pool so if you value quiet, avoid any room in the 201-224 range. Room 224 in particular is next to the fitness center and loud TV’s / dropping weights are likely to cause you loss of sleep.
The Sheraton has a service promise they make to ensure that you enjoy your stay. If you encounter a problem, its possible that you may be rewarded with a stall muffin, although these seem to be in limited supply.
Directions: Downtown by the river.
Unique Quality: Ideally located in the heart of downtown Saskatoon. Across the street from the Bessborough. Nice lounges and newly renovated.
