Kangerlussuaq, a former US military base, is the main gateway to Greenland. Since Hotel Kangerlussuaq is connected to the airport terminal, accommodation is easily handled. On the other side of the landing strip is the base area proper, featuring activities like a bowling alley, an indoor public swimming pool and a nightclub
