Fiesta Inn Aeropuerto Mexico City: The worst hotel experience ever
Satisfaction:
By Poduk on February 25, 2009
This was my worst hotel experience ever. The food was the worst I tasted in 3 weeks in Mexico and was also the most expensive, but the worst aspect was the receptionist and the attitude of the management.
The receptionist deliberately lied to us and tried to cheat us out of the price of a trip to Teotihuacan. He told us that we had purchased a ticket for the trip, and when we asked for the ticket he said that as we had paid it was recorded so we would be able to go and gave us time and where to meet. In fact all we had paid for was the overnight stay.
We complained at the time and the management refused to address the issue in any way except to offer us the trip at a price greater than that quoted by the lying receptionist.
We declined and missed the trip. We have since written to them four times and have so far had nothing except an email acknowledgement in the 4 months since the experience.
The outstanding characteristic was the lying of the receptionist and the total lack of ability of the management to respond to complaints. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL.
