Holiday Inn by the fisherman's wharf. A very new hotel, only on year old, and very reasonable prices $110, with continental breakfast.

Prices vary for when you go and who you book through.
We saved $300.00 per person by booking through a diiferent agent. Great pool.
The swim up bar (with underwater stools) was a bonus.
Holiday Inn has nice package deals, coffee pot in room which are nice and clean. Best package is one day back to back more money back. Walk through parking garage to tropicanna casino. Hilton only two short blocks. A bar in lobby. Free parking
Go to web page and check out packages and you will see Price is reasonable, out door pool,
Service was slow especially as far as food was concerned. Wonderful high ceiling rooms. Perfect location. Great view of Zocalo from the roof terrace. You can "watch" Mexico without leaving your hotel.
Great Location. The Zona Rosa is a somewhat Sohoesque area of Mexico City that will remind you a bit of home. Prices are great.
will be spending a couple of nights at the end of september. i've already checked tripadvisor but just wondered if anyone who is familiar with these (condition, location, pool) which one they'd choose. thanks.
sorry...missed a word, the last hotel was laguna riviera
Any stay in Laguna is good, All places are clean and consdiering Laguna is a relatively nice area, the accomodations for visitors match that.
You can't go wrong with the basic best western/holiday inn. It's conveninetly located near the water and walking distance from restaturants, shoppong and super market.
However, the Riveira is in my opinion much nicer and if choosing, I would go with that one instead of the others.
Laguna is a beautiful, artsy beach town.
If you are heading to Catalina from Dana Point harbour, then even a stay in Dana is possible, however, in my opinion, the hotels in Laguna are better and located in a way that gives you access to many things.
Hope this helped a bit!
Hi there,
I will be arriving in mexico city end of this week around 19.00 o clock. My next flight will be departing the next morning at six, thus I'm looking for a place to stay overnight very near mexico airport.
My budget does not even come close to Holiday Inn.. does anyone know a cheaper backpackers hostel/cheap hotel near the airport? It only needs to have a good bed, I'm happy.
Thanks for your help!
Saludos, Moniek
I was just wondering if someone has any recommendation on hotels close to the airport. I have seen Camino real Airport and I have heard of others such Ramada and Holiday inn. Any suggestions? I am traveling with wife and two under 2 yo kids so I really don't want to mess to much with transportation. Also I need to travel the following day international at 7 am. And of course, I would like not to paid the highest price for the location. So any info would be big time agradecido.
If you’re looking for a nearby hotel I would recommend Holiday Inn Plaza Dalí, I’ve stayed there twice, it's very nice and they have a free shuttle van from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport, ask the concierge about the shuttle schedule.
I paid around 125usd but if you book and pay the rate with 14 days of anticipation (through holiday-inn.com) you would pay around 75usd.
