Right in the center

We stayed here the first 3 nights of our vacation in Mexico. Only 1 block from the major square in Centro Historico. Very good place but expensive.

Unique Quality: - They forget to put points on our Hotelcard.

+ Friendly staff
+ Good location

  • Opinion of Price: more expensive than average

2 blocks from the zocalo

The room was small but cozy. The bathroom was small, but they try to fit a bathtub in it.

Unique Quality: This hotel is connected to a starbucks coffee shop. 2 blocks away from the zocalo, so at night it can be pretty noisy. Ask for a room facing the back part of the hotel - you will have no view, but it will not be as noisy as rooms facing the street.
Hotel offers transportation service which is very expensive for Mexican standard. We took their "cab" from the hotel to TAPO station - which is only about 10 minutes away for $150 (mexican pesos)! For comparison, we took the authorized taxi from the airport to this hotel - 30 minutes ride - for $100.
