Por favor, Exactly where is the chapel and plaza "la romita" relative to the Chapultepec metro station? Gracias.

I know a place called la romita but it is not near the Chapultepec station. it is very close to the CUAUHTEMOC metro station, some three or four stations towards PANTITLAN.

Habia buscado la cerca Chapultepec en un mapa porque mi guia touristica dice la esta cerca Chapultepec, cuando de hecho la esta una y medio cuadras sur del metro Cuahtemoc. Gracias otra vez, amigo. Zona Rosa and adjacent Roma are the most "hip" and authentic places, since they have recovered from the 1985 earthquake, and now showing beautiful art deco 1930 building next to modern stylish apartments. A lot of parks adds to the atmosphere. Accomodation tips: CondesaDF, old building revamped with modern design, and elhostaldevictor.com, if you prefer a luxurious personalized B&B.
Walk and get in contact with the people. I have lived here almost all my life, I grew up here and the city taught me how to move around, find it useful to grow in a city so big as almost no city in the world seems dangerous or complicated.
I've always prided myself on being punctual..but punctual in Mexico City means 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes after the set time. This was an easy custom to get used to.
I found it particularily amusing that the bride pulled me aside the night before her wedding mass to tell me that even though mass was suppossed to start at 12:30 I could give myself until 1:15 to be at the church.

If you're lucky as I was, you can talk yourself into getting a visitor access at the Suprema Corte de Justicia (Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico). It's an interesting sight with interesting murals inside.
