recommendation
can anyone recommend a cheap hotel or cheap lodging at airport or very near, so i can sleep for about 6-7 hours, shower, before next long haul flight.

Assuming you mean the MEXICO CITY airport, we have stayed a couple times when we had the same criteria, as RAMADA AEROPUERTO MEXICO, Boulevard Aeropuerto 390,(3 star) which I book using the American Airlines website (click HOTELS); it is about USD$80/night. Quiet rooms,restaurant and bar and a free shuttle to the airport.
I just looked up the AA site now and they have listed a 2 star, also with shuttle, that is having a special rate of STARTING from $35.00!! (instead of $79) called HOTEL SAN DIEGO. not knowing your dates, of course I don't know if the special rate would apply. it's address is Luis Moya #98, Mex C. 06030.
There are also another couple hotels with special rates showing; but they do NOT indicate having a shuttle.
So, if you can use the AA site (www.aa.com), when you click on 'Hotels', then click for near the airport. Otherwise maybe you can find them on another site.
