Excellent, Reasonable Accommodations
Mexico City offers a wide range of accommodations options, ranging from slum-like locales to ultra-luxurious hotels. The Real Del Sur hotel offers a good compromise. They're reasonably priced (according to U.S. standards) but offer large, expansive clean rooms in a safe environment.
Unique Quality: The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, offering a good buffet for several meals. Most of the waiters speak some English, which is helpful for tourists.
There's a slow-speed Internet connection on one computer on the 2nd floor. But in a mall across the street is an Internet cafe run by a husband & wife team. It offers several computers at a slightly better speed. Be sure to tip them generously and tell them that "Robert from Canada" sent you!!

HOTEL REAL DEL SUR
In mexican pesos is like $600 the standard room.
60 American dolars.
Unique Quality: well this is a good and nice hotel, it´s located in a good place, it has standard suites,junior suites, master suites and some other types. there are different prices it depends on the type of room you want, but I think t´s one of the best hotels if you´re looking for something kind of cheap and nice, we have very expensive ones but i think in México City doesnt worth to pay too much for a hotel, so i recomend this one.
It has different restaurants,a disco,lobby bar,laundry,travel agency, some rooms have jacuzzi.....

I will be in Mexico City for soccer training in June with Cruz Azul. Have been given this hotel ( Real Del Sur ) as a nice place to stay for 2 weeks. Any info would help. Places to eat, shop, see? Distance from Cruz Azul training facility?
