The Tlacuache
by rmdw
The Tlacuache is one of the strangest animals you'll ever see. My girlfriend's casa in Aguascalientes is in the rural part of the city.
One afternoon this animal just came strolling up to the house as an explorer often does.
The body was about 30cm long and the tail an equal length beyond that. To me it looks like a cross between an anteater and a rat!

AGUASCALIENTES
by ephobius
Downtown Aguascalientes, a great and modern city. This is the old part of the town. Cathedral built in 1738.
Every April since 1828 Aguascalientes has the biggest and most famous fair in Mexico, the Feria Nacional de San Marcos. Big crowds gather then, about 1 million visitors in 3 weeks. Bullfights, cockfights, concerts and about 2000 stands and exhibitions. Plus the only legal casino (during the fair) in the country.
