Observations

It's maybe not my "fondest" memory, just a few things I noticed ...
As soon as you cross the border, you will see countless dentist offices and pharmacies left and right. Many Americans cross the border to buy their medication a lot cheaper in Mexico.
Very young kids, 5 or 6 years old, selling chocolate etc late at night on the street. The parents do not send many of these kids to school. They need the little money they might make by selling everything from candy, hats, bags to food on the street. You might also see people at intersections trying to sell newspapers or those dressed in colorful costumes dancing and after their little performance going to the cars asking for a little money.
Charging of the bull
by mht_in_la
In the begining of a bullfight, matador's assistants run around the ring (no cape, no sword) to tease the bull. The bull gets annoyed and charges towards the assistants at full speed until the assistants find shelter. This is to show off the strength, speed, and vigor of the bull to the audience.
Mexicali: Hot, Hot, Hot!!!!!!

"My Home Town"
Mexicali is a great place to visit. Just make sure you have high heat tolerance as our temperatures during the summer stay in the 100-112 degrees Farenheit. Right on the border of California and Baja California, Mexicali is a smaller scale Tijuana with of course much warmer weather.
As I continue to build this page, I would like to hear from those that have visited or are planning to visit so that I may include relevant information because since I do live here, I might have irrelevant information to fellow travelers.
