Oaxaca: A Special Place in Mexico

After lots of time in Mexico, I finally made my way to Oaxaca. What a delight. It's a beautiful Colonial city whose center Zocalo is a gorgeous, vibrant, bustling place to hang out. Nearby Monte Alban provides classic history. The food is unique and fantastic, especially the moles. Oaxaca is surrounded by villages featuring "artesanias" or Mexican folk art. The birthplace of Mezcal, Oaxaca is also just five hours from a beautiful and still undiscovered coast.
