A wonderful hotel in the heart of Tijuana

This hotel was wonderful. It was close to Avenida Revolucion, easy walking distance to restaurants, clubs, shopping, etc.
Also, the parking garage is nice and there was a security guy there 24/7 watching the people, rooms, and cars. Even as a single female, I felt 100% safe. Once my car alarm went off when I was trying to get in my car and the manager even came out to see what was going on before I could even get it turned off. There are also cameras throughout the area that the manager watches from the office.
The room itself was nice and big too. Only thing I could complain about is not enough light when it is night time.
Also, I had misplaced a credit card (I found it a short time later) and the manager was helping me with that. Very friendly. I would stay here again next time I visit.
I believe I paid about $45 for one night (Aug 2010).

Unique Quality: Great location, lots of security

Great Place in Tijuana for the $$

recently stayed 4 nights at Hotel Zaragoza while in Tijuana having cataract surgery at Angeles Hospital. I'm a 50-something female traveling solo and felt safe at this hotel. It was in a quieter area near the Jai Alai stadium and close to the major attractions.
I was very satisfied with the hotel and room for the great price of $45 nightly. It is not the place if you are expecting luxury (as most Americans) but designed for the cost-conscious traveler who spends more $ on experiencing an area rather than sitting in the hotel room. this place to those who seek value and a safe location rather than expensive glitz .

Unique Quality: All necessary amenities such as room service, cable TV, hot tap water, A/C and wireless internet connection. English speaking personnel were available and everyone at the hotel was very accommodating.
The La Villa Restaurant serves delicious reasonably priced Mexican cuisine as well as an onsite bar. Secure parking.
I highly recommend
