Cabo's Budget Inn, A Work in Progress

New owners are doing their best to get this little place up to potential, but some improvement is still needed. Rooms all face onto a small central courtyard, and it's only a couple blocks from the main drag and a bit further to the beach. Walking distance to clubs and restaurants. The price as of June 06 was $65 for two, a bit less for a single. The beds are old style concrete bases with mattresses and pillows that seem to be what "the original" in the place's name refer to. Not for cranky old ladies, but if you're just looking for a clean place to crash, it'll do.

Unique Quality: There's a jacuzzi tub on the roof and a pleasant and cool place there to just sit and rest, read, nap, whatever. Lots of plants help give a nice atmosphere.

The Original Cabo Inn

very close to everything in Cabo San Lucas, I stayed there for 3 days and was able to walk to the beach, the marina, all the clubs, and shopping in minutes.
Very basic place, no TV, no phone, no frills...
But hey, who wants to watch TV while in Cabo anyway???
The rooms are small but functional, all rooms are air conditioned except for the 2 deluxe rooms on the roof that are open air.
Also has a reading area on the roof that is very nice.
Not for people that like to be pampered or anything close to it. Also none of the rooms have an ocean view due to the location.
