Both USD and Pesos are accepted in Cabo. To protect their income, almost everything is quoted in US dollars, so if the Peso depreciates (which it did while we were there), they don't lose any money.

Please can someone tell me in what year and month i can walk on the sand thru the arch

Here is a blurb and subsequent tides chart on the subject in CABO:http://www.caboexpo.com/ctides.htm
I believe that you will need a MINUS tide to be able to walk thru...
Trish is right, that a very low tide is needed to walk under the arch. Most people have never walked it. It is very dangerous and is reached by Lover's Beach, maybe should be called "Divorce Beach" as some locals do( "If you try to walk to the arch, I'll divorce you!!!"). You can get a panga boat to drop you off, literally into the water, at Lover's Beach and attempt the walk, but again only if it is extremely low tide. It is called a minus (-) tide. Make it out and back before the tide starts to come back in. If you do try to walk it, do this at your own risk!!! I would not recommend it. See the tide chart: http://www.mobilegeographics.com:81/locations/846.html

Standard luggage, easily entered by airport security. If you plan to bring back souvenir shirts & soft stuff like that, pack an empty cloth duffle in your suitcase. Once you arrive, take it out and fill it up with goodies. Except fruit, critters or people. The USBP, Customs Svc., and USDA all frown on that. Take good hiking-type shoes if you plan to leave the hotel. Between the sidewalks and the rocks, you'll be glad you have them. Lots of hot sun almost overhead means sunblock. I'd pack a first aid kit with some antiseptic stuff for skinned knees, toes, and so on. Nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe a telephoto lens in case a whale goes by. We stay in a condo-type place, so we would pack a box full of groceries here at home, and ship it down there on the same flight we are on. Much cheaper and most likely safer than groceries there.
Hopefully your hotel will have one, it just happened that the last night we were there they had a big all you can eat all you can drink fiesta with a tequila walk at the end and as you can see from the picture...my boyfriend won the first bottle they gave away that night. I on the other hand took one single step....yep just ONE step, but thats ok, we brought home an enormous bottle of tequila which is fabulous! How did I get that picture your asking yourself?! Don't ask me, maybe I should take more pictures drunk from now on!
Due the commercial ties with Cuba you find lots of shops selling Cuban cigars in Mexico. Also in Cabo you will find them a lot. Due the trade embargo between America and Cuba is it more easy and safe for American tourists to buy them here. However, Cabo is not the cheapest place in Mexico. If you travel to other places in Mexico I am sure you find them cheaper...
Mangos, has the longest happy hour at 12 hours long. Buy one get one drinks. The drinks are cheap. You can get food too. Just get there early to get a good spot on the beach. I spent 2 days of my last trip to Cabo just sitting on the beach at mangos drinking, shopping and people watching. It was a great vacation.
