Thanks a lot CESAR for your incredible attention with us, he´s the property rentals and manager of Cabo Dreams Rentals and belive me they´re the best (www.cabodreamsrentals.com). The Barcelo: Great deals in Los Cabos

Hi everyone! I just booked my winter travel plans to Los Cabos, Baja California. With the state of the economy, lots of hotels are offering huge discounts for people looking to travel to Mexico. One of my favorite chains, Barcelo (Spain) is offering an incredible deal where anyone can get up to 45% off any reservation. The Barcelo hotel in Cabo is under construction, with an opening date of December 1 – if anyone is thinking about going to Cabo, this promotion really is a great way to save some money. Just go to http://www.thehotelofyourdreams.com/?33 and write a review of what kind of hotel room you would like to stay in. Hopefully see some people down Mexico way!

Barcelo Hotels are true luxury in all respects from yhe atention in detail in the rooms to the awesome pool and common areas. They are reminiscent of otherinfamous spots such as the Delano in Miami or many of the high end JW Marriots in resort areas.

Villa Costa Brava: Private Cabo Villas

We had an amazing stay at Villa Costa Brava last summer. We booked it through CaboVillas.com, and they were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us pick out the best property for our group (mostly family). The villa is in the Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, but driving to either was quick and easy.

The villa itself is 3BR/3BA, and about 3,000 sq. feet. It had internet access and a Vonage telephone line, which was really convenient. It was furnished very nicely, and had daily maid service. We also had a private chef come one of the nights to cook dinner - it was fantastic!

I would highly recommend this villa, or others through this company.

Private beach access, private pool, small kid's pool, internet and Vonage, excellent location, very private.

Timeshare Presentation-Canadians work in there: Playa Del Sol

I meet Abrahan @ the Mega Store, he offered me 6 tickets tfor the swimming with the dolphins,
They pick us up from the hotel @ 8:00 am, when we got there they said that they were not going to give us the tickets to the dolphins because they were sold out, so we told them to give us the money ($165.00 x 6) = $900.00
they said that they only have budget for $600.00 we agreed, we had breakfast, we order a la cart because we did not like the menu, you can only choose from 3 plates and offered to pay, if it was necessary, of course they did not charge us. we haven't buy yet.
we had the presentation, we ordered all kind of drinks and 60 minutes later we told them that we had reservations for a fishing trip at 11:00 am.
We got $600.00 plus breakfast and taxi paid to town.

If you want to buy at this place, offer them $11,000.00 for two bedroom for 2 weeks for 52 weeks plus you can get 2 weeks with RCI for free every year. Do not pay more that that. period.

Great deal-Timeshare All Inclusive: Royal Solaris

We met Rene at Grupo Mayan that invite us to this presentation, Royal Solaris (All inclusive),
He paid for our taxi to El pescador Restaurant where we had seafood lunch 2 days before, They got us from our hotel @ 8 am, we had a good breakfast, we went upstairs to the presentation and we had a hang over that we still feel drunk, we started having tequila shoots and margaritas. They almost get us drunk and we almost sign the contract, but we are too smart for that, as usual we ask for something that they will not be able to give us, like a vacation for all of us in cancun at their sisters properties, or the price that we know that they will not sell. They gave us $500.00 for attending the presentation, we were out by 11:30 am, we had reservation for Parasailing @ 1:00 pm at Villa la Estancia. We paid with that money and we had dinner that night at Squid Roe

If you want to buy at this property, offer them $18,500.00 for one bedroom for two weeks anytime of the year for 6 pp, the food and drinks are included and this deal is only or 25 years.
That is only $740.00 x year for two weeks (52.85 x day) and that is only for one person. the other 5 will eat for free.
Kids 12 and under are free.
If they want to sell that day, they will sell it to u.

Mayan Group: Grupo Mayan-Timeshare Presentation

We met this lady @ Thirfty Rent A car, we were going to rent a car when we first got to cabo, We had reservations for 2 cars, they did not have the cars that we reserved, this lady aproach us and told us that if we go to a 90 minutes presentation that she will take us to the hotel and that we did not need the cars. we were going to spent more that $1000.00 in cars and she said that if we needed a car, to rent it in town, is less expensive, the insurance is $25.00 per day on top of the daily rent. She call someone and immediately we had the cars for the 10 days. a Jeep and a convertible for $30.00 each for day including insurance.
She took us to the hotel and we signed the papers to attend the presentation the following day, from all the 10 free breakfast that we had while in Cabo this was the best. We gave 30 minutes to antonio, after that we said that we were not interested on their hotel because is too exppensive, $ 30.00 for breakfast $35.oo for lunch and $40.00 or $50.00 for dinner per person.
They gave us the $600.00 that they promise us, 2 days rent a car (a YUKON XL) and the free breakfast.
When we got out there, we met Rene that invite us to another presentation for the next morning, Royal Solaris (All inclusive), he paid for our taxi to El pescador Restaurant where we had seafood lunch, if you go there, ask for Diego, he will give you all the drinks for free if you tell him that a friend from his hometown Nayarit sent you. At night we had dinner @ Ruth Chris Steak house. We ate and drink wine like french kings.

Great Place to buy timeshare, offer $11.000 for 1 bedroom two weeks, 52 weeks, that will be the lowest price that you will get. Ask for a 50% discount on food & Bev and they will give it to u if you promise them not to come back next year, you can still go to the oter 4 resorts. Try not to buy the Mega Resorts.
Tell them that you will go to their 5 properties every five years. and they can give this discount.
Cancun-Vallarta-Nuevo Vallarta-Mazatlan-Cabo San Lucas.
Ask for Antonio, he is from Guadalajara, he will give you this discount.
maintenance fee= pay only $140.00 per week or 280.00 per year for the two weeks.

INTERCONTINENTAL (AI): Great All Inclusive!

I had a great stay at the Intercontinental Presidente all inclusive resort in Cabo San Jose! It is a bit off the beaten track, but they have good service! I really liked the El Patio restaurant. You need reservations, but for part of the inclusive price you receive great meals! I tried the sesame covered mahi mahi and the special beef in an unbelievably tasty sauce! The desserts were also amazing! Try the triple chocolate dessert with hot chocolate poured over the whole thing! The room service was also excellent! I enjoyed the carnival night and the massage in a cabana on the beach! They have shuttles to Cabo San Lucas for $10 round trip and you can take the local bus for $2.50 per way, it is about a mile from the resort, so you need to walk or catch a taxi for $5. A taxi ride is way too expensive at about $30, and totally not necessary!
Last but not least the yoga and tai chi on the beach every morning was an awesome part of the experience!
Happy travels!

Crowne Plaza: All Inclusive in Los Cabos

We booked a 5 night all inclusive package, staying at the Crowne Plaza.

The hotel had a gorgeous pool area, swim up bar, it was just awesome!

The room was gorgeous, spacious, we highly recommend this place to anyone considering Cabos

There were 5 different restaurants in the hotel, so even though it was all inclusive, it was also all a little different.. Sushi, Mexican, American, it was really nice

We had so much fun there, we only went out to the touristy bar/restaurant area at night. It was about a 15 minute cab ride each way...

The hotel is pretty much right in between the airport (in Cabo San Jose) and the bars and restaurants (Cabo San Lucas)

Villa Del Cabo: Cabo San Lucas Villa Warning

The Villa Del Cabo was a beautiful place to stay. However, the owner/sight manager lives on the property. There were two seperate occassions when I returned to the Villa to find the owner Roland in our living quarters.

The most concerning instance happened when I returned to the house from a nearby restraunt to get my son's "binky". I caught Roland running out of our bedroom. When I confronted him he said he was "checking the airconditioning and stuff". The behavior was obviously suspicious. Nothing was missing from the room, but I was glad this was our last night in Cabo.

There are lots of nice places to stay in Cabo, you can do better.

Great pool, great hot tub. Unbelievable view.

Westin Club Regina/GRAND REGINA: Great place to stay

We have been taking a one week vacation to Cabo every year for the past three years. We always stay at the Westin! Its a great hotel for couples and families. They have defined adults only pools and kids pools. Poolside activities are fun. We especially enjoy loteria! While the Westin is not all inclusive you really don't have to leave the resort. They offer everything. six pools, four restaurants, spa, etc. Of course, it would be tragic to never leave the resort and see the sights in and around Cabo!

We were fortunate to stay at the Westin Grand Regina this year (Feb. 03 - Feb. 10). The attention to detail and service at the Grand is even better the Club Regina... if thats possible. I can't speak highly enough about this place. The room (suite) is spectacular. We easily had a 900 square foot bedroom and bath. We also had a full kitchen, living room, and a wonderfull deck with a small spa (see pictures). The resturant, El Círcelo was very good. The two pools are fantastic. Small but brand new and very clean. It seemed as if we had the pools all to ourselves most of the time. Actually, it seemed we had the whole resort to ourselves.

Very clean rooms. Staff is great! Speaking a little Spanish (Hola, Gracias, ets.) will go a long way... especially the house cleaning staff. Great beach, however, you really can't swim because of the undertow. "No, gracias" works especially well with the vendors on the beach (which are few at the Westin). We have not had a bad stay here! Arrecifes restaurant is way expensive but worth a romantic evening. We have been disappointed with dinner at the El Set restuarant on two occasions (do not order anything from the grill... way overcooked!). Although the El Set is a great place for an evening cocktail!!!

Melia Hotel: Cabo's finest resort

This is one of the best hotel resorts in all of Cabo. View, service, facilities, amenities etc. are all first class all the way. I highly recommend the Melia to everyone going to Cabo.

What's great about this place, aside from the amazing view and amenities, is its proximity to where all the action is in downtown Cabo. You can literally walk to all the nightlife hotspots of Cabo, which can't be said for many of the other high end resorts in town. In fact, most of the other high end resorts are long taxi rides away from the Cabo nightlife.

The pool seen is unbelievable, rivaling that of the best pool scenes in Vegas. Beautiful bodies of all ages abound at the Melia.
