Not tortilla soup, but a creamy, pepper soup...YUM
I will be traveling in the next few months to Cabo and the surrounding area for approx a month. I have never been to that area previously. I have been looking for apartments to rent, but so far have not been able to find anything besides villas and such. I do not need need over the top accomodations, been there, done that. Low key is the way of life now. Thanks mucho. G

Sport Fishing An incredible day of fishing with Minerva's Baja Tackle and Charters. Found them through a tourist guide to Cabo San Lucas - http://www.cabosbest.com - Minerva's site is http://www.minervas.com. We chartered with them for four days and caught marlin and dorado each day. Great service, great boats and all at a reasonable price!
While walking through the streets in Cabo going from store to store, we heard this music coming from somewhere. Thinking it was just the radio in some store, we kept walking but as we walked on we approached this fence and saw that the music was coming from there. We went inside the fence and saw that a mass at church was going on. It was a mass for the women and they were singing beautiful music and were all wearing the same clothing. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever saw. It was so different than the usual church we go to and they were so into it. Some women were even crying and that was something I never saw before either. It was great. We stood in the door way watching and listening and then the pastor came up to us and invited us in and allowed us to videotape some of it. He was very nice to us and was very thankful that we took the time to see their culture.
Take a cruise on the Pez Gato for a different view of Cabo...from the sea. The crew is friendly and fun, and the secluded snorkling is a nice break from laying by the pool all day.
Make reservations through your hotel to save a lot of money. TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED!
Also, bring binoculars or a camera to catch sight of any whales...
Another good option if ypu rent a car. There are a wide variety of great deserted beaches to visit. Be careful when driving to these beaches, sometimes the roads are covered with sand and is very difficult to follow the path, we got stuck twice needing help from a truck in the last place.
Whoa, Cabo Wabo. This is one of the must Cabo San Lucas nightspots, day or night. The food is good, the drinks are better, and the music goes on and on. Many levels to visit, and you must walk up the stairs to go downstairs to the bar/dance floor/pool table.
The restaurant sits on the top floor and stairs are the only way up, but the back street offers a straight in walkway to the bar/dance floor area. The live music starts at 9 pm and goes all night. No real dress code, but safe to say they might exclude the nude. At least until the party gets roaring after midnight.
