as a resident of Baja C. Sur, I am aware of the cultural more's and laws, and would not recommend that you indulge in nudity on any beach between Todos Santos and Cabo, especially in high season, as this is often the time when many laws are 'tightened down' due to the foreigners who are uninformed, be it drinking, driving, or ........

I am NOT familiar with the beaches you mention, so I can't say anything specific about them.

Do you have the right name of the beach? All I keep thinking is Islas Marias, but it has nothing to do with that area at all. Fyi, Islas Marias = prison. Yep, that's what they are and are south from the pacific towards Nayarit.

Now, there's a beach called Santa Maria near Los Cabos.
There's a website that shows a little bit about it:

Lastly, be cautious about the nudity thing, we are not that open yet for open public nidity thing. There are travel agencies and hotels that allow that, but you might need to google it first.

Travel Tips for Cabo San Lucas

Rent a car so you can check...

by Goner

Rent a car so you can check out the 'fancy' hotels and take a trip to San Jose and possible to Toto Santos. The warm sun and the ocean breeze. It was great just laying on the beach or by the pool and chilling out.

Cabo Sportfishing is king!

by timBRITTON

Slippery Lizzard Sportfishing is located on the Marina in Cabo, next to Johnny Rockets (a little hard to find). They have all kinds of boats and they are for both real fisherman and aspiring fisherman like me who want to learn and be a part of the process. The crews are all fluent in English and they tell you exactly what's going on. Some charter companies are a rip off down in Cabo, taking tourists out only a few miles offshore in order to save gas, or not really allowing them to be a part of the fishing etc. These guys are the real deal - in fact, I became one of them! I though the company was so great that I got involved. Now I am a small part-owner. This review is not unbiased in the least!!!

A typical trip starts at 6:30. Most charters end around 2-3pm. Slippery Lizzard will stay out until you have enough fish or the sun goes down! There is one captain and one mate, usually, in addition you can request a American guide (for free) if you want. Our guide was an official IGFA observer. We caught 3 Tuna, 2 Dorado, and a Marlin. Awesome. All professional grade tackle and equipment is provided on every boat. You literally only need sunblock and sunglasses.

Take the time to see how they live...

by jrlamour

When you visit Cabo San Lucas, take the time to visit the non-touristy areas. It was a real eye-opener for me when I was there to see the poorer areas of the town and how little they had (materially).

Whenever I travel to countries other than Canada and the US, I always make sure I take at least one day to see the other parts of the town, it really puts the whole trip into perspective.

The best way to see these areas is either to walk, ride a bike, or sometimes, rent an atv or something of the like in order to cover more territory.

Bare Divertido

by Cammel11 about El Squid Roe

Open air bar/dancing. Good music, fun people, 2 floors! I went during hurricane season (didn't know that before I left), but i still had a blast! One night it rained in the middle of the night. no one in the club cared at all, everyone just kept dancing. Everyone was soaking wet! one of my favorite memories of my trip.

Tourists live shows...

by Ronald_T about Giggling Marlin

In this pub you can learn about the lowest human instincts. The staff here knows very well what to do for making the tourists nuts. They like to come around with Tequila shots and throw them in your mouth without asking. Do not be surprised if they let you pay US$ 8 for it. By paying you can also try an upside down Tequila shot. They hang you with your ankles on a row and pull you up. Nice to see but I do not know the effect next morning :o) If you want to join the shows with them, think about that the most important to show is your body. On this way you have the most chance you have to win, special the woman...
