Sun, Beaches and Drinks!!!

Relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beaches - From the main beach at Playa Medano, one of the great people watching spots in the world, to quiet Playa del Amor (Lover's Beach) a short boat ride away. There are the countless quiet coves, where you'll most likely find no other footprints in the sand. Miles and miles of deserted beaches, on both the Pacific coast and the shoreline of the Sea of Cortez, make for an unbelievable vacation area; the kind beach lovers dream of. Snorkeling at either of the beautiful bays of Santa Maria or Chileno seems to be the very reason snorkeling was invented.

Travel light since you don't really need much while in Cabo, Wear the same t-shirt for a few weeks and you will not notice the difference, Sandals , Boots , Shorts, Hats Lots of sunscreen , I was sunburned untill I turned 75
Rent a car
by malianrob
We rented a car on one of our visits to Cabo and we drove to Todos Santos, a small town on the other side of Baja, on the Pacific side. The side there was smooth, the road was good. It was like driving through the desert. Once you hit Todos Santos there are a few places to eat and shop. I thought it was a nice town and think i would even consider staying here next time. Definately not too touristy, just a place to go and relax.
Shopping in Cabo
by grkboiler about Local Stores
There are plenty of small local stores lining the streets in Cabo. You can find good deals here on clothes and jewelry, and the cigar stores are very popular with a wide selection of Cubans and other good cigars. Take a look around, but also remember if you see something sold in the stores that is sold on the beach, compare the prices first. You may be able to get it cheaper on the beach.
Audience Participation At Its Finest
by grkboiler about Giggling Marlin
When you are in the Giggling Marlin, you frequently hear "What happens in Cabo stays in Cabo". This is a very entertaining place to go. Basically, there is a guy with a mic trying to get random people to act like complete fools by playing games like musical chairs or having lap dance contests, with plenty of tequila involved. Winners get free drinks and other prizes. If you volunteer, you most likely don't know what you are getting yourself into, but enjoy it and laugh with everyone else. The best part is, they get it all on video, so if you choose, you can buy a tape and take it home to show everyone you know.
They also have salsa dancers, jello shots, and they can hang you upside down like a dead fish to give you a shot of tequila.
This is good for one night. If you go more than once, the shows start repeating and it can get old (unless you have plenty of alcohol). This is not exactly a good place for kids either, especially when the host constantly tells people "it takes skin to win". No dress code.
