Palenque
We used Palenque as a jumping off point to see the ruins at Palenque and also Agua Azul. But I also loved the city itself! There were some good places to eat (including the taco carts near the market plaza) and we ended up finding the real market (not for gringos). It was a reversal being the only white person and actually getting some odd stares! But it was fun to see where everyone actually shopped and met and laughed. Good times!
