Hotel San Antonio: Safe, Clean, Convinent, and Friendly

Well to tell you how much I like this Hotel, I've invited 19 of my friends to join me there this weekend, with the promise, if you don't like it, I'll pay for your room. I'm not worried because we have taken quite a few people that have never Stayed in Mexico before here, and they loved it.

In the past I would rent a hotel in Del Rio, and go by cab to Acuna $$$$. Now I stay at the Hotel San Antonio, where it is safe and with in 2 blks of all the good clubs. No chance of a DWI or the hastle of going through the border lines and inspections late at night.

This is not a Marriott, or a Sheraton, but more like a Motel 6 or a Budget inn. The rooms have window unit a/c, with tile showers and basic soap/shampoo.

The price is quite reasonable.

Unique Quality: This hotel is set up like a compound with walls surrounding it, with parking in the center. Yes it is safe to take your car across, I have numberous times. We even ride our motorcycles across and stay here. They have a 24 hour guard to keep anyone who is not a guest out of the area.

The main building that faces the street is 3 story, and the rear building is 2 story with a river out back (not the Rio Grande). There is also a club there to enjoy, but not as much fun as the others in town, but a great place to get a drink while waiting on your friends to get dressed.
