Hotel San Francisco Plaza: Stay in an old convent!

I have heard that this hotel used to be a convent, and is now converted to a hotel. I believe it, because the door to each room is huge, like a church door! Seriously, I think the door is about 10 feet tall and heavy wood. The rooms are located around three indoor patio areas that are filled with plants and sitting areas. There is a restaurant downstairs. We stayed there on two occasions and enjoyed the ambiance and location. If it is available, ask for a room on the interior. It will be quiet if it is a little bit away from the street.

This hotel is very centrally located, and there are many good places to explore within walking distance.
