We went to this hotel and found many nice things. The food was great, the waitresses, waiters, and bartenders are great. The bell boy was very helpful. The things that were not good. They charge 65 pesos per day to have your car parked in the hotel lot. This is one of the greatest expenses. The second is my wife was injured while standing in the hotel swiming pool and had to go to the hospital. The hotel refused to pay medical expenses for her injury because it happened in the swiming pool. However it was not her fault she was doing nothing but standing in the water. It was the fault of the mother and father, and the hotel security staff for allowing this teenage girl to be in the pool alone. This was the most costly problem. On top of the hotel payment we had to pay over $7000 pesos in lost income and medical expenses so far to stay at this hotel. I guess in short Stay at your own Risk at this hotel the management does not care about repeat business of accidents.
It may be better to find street parking even if you have to take the bus to get back to hotel . The price of parking is very high, and it takes up to 20 minutes to get your car.
One more thing look for the volkswagon taxis, they are much cheaper than the ones who sit infront of hotel and watch out for people from the El Presidente hotel. They will try to get you to go to a breakfast or cocktail and they give you a ticket. When you arrive for the meeting they do not follow through with the conditions listed on the back of the ticket. Be Very careful with them.
It was a very nice room with an ocean view and had a table, refrigerator, stove, and other pull out sofa. Was a very nice room. The bathroom could use work, but it is hard to keep paint on the ceiling of the bathroom. If the hotel changes managers and helps out with the bills I may go back.
