Great hotel at a low price
Stayed at this place back in 1996 when it was called the Gloria Del Mar and really enjoyed the stay.
Decided to go back, especially since it looked like it has been renovated and the prices are still low.
I just love the location of this hotel! You can walk to the Malecon(Boardwalk) where a lot of the shops and restaurants are. There is a nice beach and pier right outside the hotel.
Room is comfortable and has a/c.
Taxi from airport to hotel was $22.
I am ready to back a third time!
Unique Quality: Not expensive. I paid $30 a night back in 1996 and only $48 a night in 2007.
That was off season of course, but even in high season,the rooms start at $62 a night.
Great views.
Nice pool.
Beach front dining and bar.
