    • It was 18 years ago, and I remember the hotel was not air-conditioned, but it had a ceiling fan that took a bite out of my hand. There were mosquitos and noisy students doing calestenics in a catholic school across the street.
    I remember drinking alot.

    It was cheap: The toilet had no seat, you know what it must have been like--cheap and who cares when you are asleep most of the time anyway, while you are not out carousing.
